“… to fit my two boyfriends when we snuggle together at night.”
Only that’s my father asking, staring at the bed in question.
So yeah. Unruly Jethro and cocky Joel are now officially my boyfriends. My Candy Boys. I moved in with them, and I expected things to be tense, awkward. I was wrong. This feels so right, and well, hot. These boys are so hot.
But with college starting, Jethro returning to work at the bookshop, and Joel starting his own business, everything’s shifting. Not to forget the fact that Joel still hasn’t confronted his parents about our relationship, that Jethro is still recovering from his dad’s brutal attack, and that I feel insecure, well…
Wait a sec. Insecure? Come on, Candy. That’s BS. These boys love you.
Yeah, I know. The boys and me, we’re solid. However, doubt still lingers. I mean, Joel’s parents hate each other. Jethro’s dad killed his mom, for chrissakes—and my mom has acquired a sudden interest in sex toys and escort services.
So I wonder if true love really exists. Love that doesn’t fade over time. You know, the kind that withstands nightmares and bad jokes, unwashed dishes in the sink and lack of lube.
Yeah, that happened.
These boys own me. They’re sweet, sexy and caring—but will they break my heart, or is this our happily ever after?
This is the epilogue to Candy Boys, which you really need to read first to understand just what is happening in this book.
So Candy has moved in with Jethro and Joel and are living together in a M/M/F relationship, and this story is all about them moving forward together as a three and having a serious go at being together. All 3 have their own difficulties that they have to overcome and face.
Candy is as sweet as ever loving both her boys and can’t quite believe they are hers. But her mum and dad are having their own relationship problems which she is worrying about. Her mother knows no boundaries and seriously sticks her nose into her new relationship with the boys, wanting to know the most intimate details and even advice!!
Jethro/Jet is still coming to terms with his father’s abuse and his stabbing. He has some serious nightmares and sleeps poorly. He also believes that everyone leaves him in the end and is sure that Joel will walk away from him also.
Joel is still coming to terms with having Jet as a boyfriend as well as Candy, letting himself go has always been a problem, he needs control. He also hasn’t told his family about his relationship, and is scared of their reaction. He has found himself a new job but has plans for the future, but everything is stressful at the moment.
So these 3 have a lot to cope with, as with all relationships things can be tough. But they have a lot of sex to compensate – and I mean A LOT!!!! Very hot M/M/F or just M/M sex, so be warned!!
It was a nice read, not something I was expecting after Candy Boys, and took me a little to get into it, which is unusual for me reading Jo’s books. But it gets there in the end. There was an overload of sex in here for me, they seemed to be at it like rabbits all the time! But then if I had 2 ridiculously hot males after my attention I’m sure I would be the same!
I look forward to seeing what Jo has to offer up next.
