Book 2 in the Fight for Me series, and we’re back in Gingham Lakes – having read book 1 (Show Me The Way) and absolutely loved it, I couldn’t wait for book 2 to find out more about the hot and sexy doctor Kale, who we met in book 1 and had me really itching for his story – Kale’s story is amazing!! I loved it soo much!! The FEELS in this story!! Such an emotionally charged read, it really will put you through the wringer!!

Dr Kale Bryant has started a new job at practice in Gingham Lakes and is out with his friends at the bar celebrating when a redhead across the room catches his attention. Kale has a darkness in him, something he cannot move on from, a relationship with him is just a one night stand, he lives for his work. After his initial reaction to this girl, who he can’t get out of his head, he knows things are about to change.

Hope Masterson is trying to start her life over, trying to get away from her past, but her past won’t leave her alone. Her whole world revolves around her son, keeping him happy and safe her only priority. After meeting Kale in the bar, she holds onto the hope that ‘someday’ she can move on, but her life is so very complicated she can’t afford her ‘someday’ yet.

Fabulously written, full of dark secrets, hopes and desires, love and heartache, innocence and despair. Kale was incredibly sexy, swoon worthy, cocky, charming and sweet. Hope is such a strong character with everything she has been through, and how she fights for her family.

But this story would not be complete without the addition of Evan, who you just can’t help but fall in love with!! I wanted to pick him up and take him home!!

A brilliant 5 star read that will have you tearing up more than once, I can’t wait for book 3!!
