My Review:

This was my first book by Kallista, so haven’t read any of the other Tharan books in this series. Although it can be read as a standalone I felt a little lost with some of the references, so would maybe recommend reading some of the others in this series first. But saying that, I enjoyed this story and its setting, and would definitely go back and read the other books in this series!

Delta is a prisoner of a slave trader who then get sold to Lord Axum for in his harem. She gets presented to the Lord but he doesn’t pick her, instead she is offered as a gift and is taken by the twin warriors Zandyr and Zhynn, who are there undercover to find out just what Lord Axum is up to but also to rescue Delta from him.

But the twins recognise Delta as their true mate, which happens rarely with their species and a human, only triggered by one special female and the right set of biological characteristics that best match their own. They have to fight their innate ability to mate with her until they can get her to safety.

Its a fast paced story, with MFM, spanking and medical play, but not as ‘brutal’ as what I was expecting really! I loved the characters and how the twins could communicate with each other. If you’re into Alien / Sci Fi / Menage then I’m sure you would enjoy this.
