Broken Compass

What if you were in love not just with one, not just with two, but with three hot guys?
And what if they wanted you back?

There are three of them. Three boys.
We’re friends. Neighbors. Our lives are linked through disaster, fear, and pain.
I love them all. Not sure I can live without them. Can we just stay friends?
Can we ignore the desire flaring when we’re around each other?
Can I kiss one and not the other?
I can’t choose.
Don’t want to choose.
And I’m not sure they can, either.
This story will either end up in heartache,
or as any story should: in a happy ending.

Love is not a road. It’s a country. A sprawling galaxy.
Love has no compass. No rules. No limits.
Love is a universe. Lose yourself in it.

My Review:

Another fabulous read by Jo Raven, her tortured and damaged boys and girls really get under your skin!! This book is no different – a reverse harem of one girl and three boys. This is a long book, but your getting a lot from it, complete background story’s about all four main characters, their past, present and future and rolled into one story.

As will all stories from Jo, her broken and damaged boys and girls don’t make for easy reading – tortured and broken, trying to find a way to survive and get on with life one way or another. Broken Compass is no different but the story itself is so much more – all about unconditional love, loyalty, support and friendships. This is the story of Sydney, Kash, Nate and West…..

The story starts off with Nate and West growing up together since they were little and living in the apartment block until Sydney moves in and becomes their friend, with the boys taking Sydney under their wing, protecting her, looking after her. The two boys are Sydney’s whole world, and she starts to fall for them both. That is until Kash moves in to their apartment block and the dynamic between them changes.

There are lots of hot steamy sexy times being a reverse harem read, expect some M/F, M/F/M, M/M and M/M/F/M scenes. But this is also a highly emotional read, quite angsty with lots of drama, and a whole hell of a lot of triggers to be warned. Again its not a nice easy read, and its long, but its definitely worth it. Each character and their story is completely individual and highly emotional, and they so deserve their HEA after everything they’ve been through!

Highly recommended reading, I couldn’t put it down, and to be honest, haven’t read a bad book by Jo Raven yet – a massive 5 heartbreaking stars.
