“This is honestly the best book I have read this year thus far!”
“So after reading Broken Compass I wasn’t just in a book hangover, I was in a book coma.”
“A few things you can guarantee with Jo Raven book’s are love, sexy times and ton of angst! wooo hoo this book is full of it!!”
“Nate, West, Kash and Sydney grabbed my heart and embedded themselves inside.”
“It’s very rare that I get so sucked into a book that I find myself living in that world. Well, it happened with this book.”
“Kash, West, Sydney and Nate have left me with one massive book hangover.”
As will all stories from Jo, her broken and damaged boys and girls don’t make for easy reading – tortured and broken, trying to find a way to survive and get on with life one way or another. Broken Compass is no different but the story itself is so much more – all about unconditional love, loyalty, support and friendships. This is the story of Sydney, Kash, Nate and West…..
The story starts off with Nate and West growing up together since they were little and living in the apartment block until Sydney moves in and becomes their friend, with the boys taking Sydney under their wing, protecting her, looking after her. The two boys are Sydney’s whole world, and she starts to fall for them both. That is until Kash moves in to their apartment block and the dynamic between them changes.
There are lots of hot steamy sexy times being a reverse harem read, expect some M/F, M/F/M, M/M and M/M/F/M scenes. But this is also a highly emotional read, quite angsty with lots of drama, and a whole hell of a lot of triggers to be warned. Again its not a nice easy read, and its long, but its definitely worth it. Each character and their story is completely individual and highly emotional, and they so deserve their HEA after everything they’ve been through!
Highly recommended reading, I couldn’t put it down, and to be honest, haven’t read a bad book by Jo Raven yet – a massive 5 heartbreaking stars.
