An unfortunate twist of fate leads to Aiden making a discovery about his own past.
Consumed with guilt, will he choose his professional oath or damn the consequences for Victoria?
Two people destined to be together but both are keeping secrets that could destroy their chance at forever.
A lovely sweet romance from Loriana, all about love, family and friendship. Well written with a good mix of characters with drama and plot twists and turns, all set in London which is always a bonus for me, reading about somewhere you really know!
Victoria West is the heroine, having been through through a lot in a relatively short space of time and just isn’t ready for another relationship with a man, until she literally bumps into Dr Aiden James on the street. He gives her his phone number and asks her to call him, but she’s not ready, even though she can’t get him out of her head. Aiden is a busy ER doctor, always working, and doesn’t have time for relationships, yet there’s something about Victoria that keeps him thinking about her. Fate throws them together for a second time, and this time Aiden is determined not to let her go.
They both have bad and hurtful experiences in their past that they have to move on from, both have secrets that will need airing if they are going to get anywhere with their relationship, but it’s not always that easy to just tell someone your darkest secrets.
I loved the banter and the friendship group they have, the romance between the main two characters is sweet but was lacking some heat for me. Other than that I really enjoyed the story line and the setting and would certainly recommend this for anyone wanting a sweet and easy read.
Loriana Cappello lives just outside of London, with her ever-supportive husband and four beautiful children. She is a full-time mum by day, but when her evenings become free, she hides away and loses herself in the depths of her imagination. Her passion for reading and writing tall stories started as a little girl. Her love of romance, a little later.
