Sometimes first loves deserve a second chance . . .
On One Condition by K. Bromberg is now live!
First loves deserve a second chance in an all-new small town, billionaire romance by New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg.
The requirement is ridiculous but simple. Spend two months in Cedar Falls and play the mayor’s games to ensure that The Retreat, Sharpe International’s newest resort, can open.
But I have a history with this small, Montana town. One I’d tried to forget but never could. Asher Wells. My Lavender Girl.
She’d had dreams and aspirations to leave Cedar Falls and make her mark on the world. So why is she still here, standing in front of me? And more importantly, why is she looking at me with hurt in her eyes when I was the one who‘d been forced to leave or else face the damning consequences of that night?
I have everything in life: money, success, an empire to run . . . everything except for one, very important thing. Her.
Fifteen years is a long time to wonder. . . what if. I’ll be damned if I leave town this time without her.
Are you ready to fall for the Sharpe brothers in K. Bromberg’s sexy, contemporary, billionaire romance series? These books can all be read as a standalone, but can be enjoyed as a series as well . . .

My ARC Review:
The second book in this series about a set of triplet billionaire brothers – Callahan, Ledger and Ford Sharpe – they’re expanding their empire and in a bid to pay homage to their late father and have taken on a business venture for a luxury leisure complex in the small town of Cedar Falls in Montana, where they used to spend their summers growing up.
The mayor of the town is playing hardball and is withholding their necessary permits to get the job finished unless one of the brothers agrees to spending two months there to learn about their town and to help out the townsfolk. Ledger gets saddled with the job of staying in the town – not a place he ever envisaged going back to. This is where he had his heart broken as a teenager by a girl he loved – Asher – the girl from the opposite side of the tracks who the whole town loved to look down on, the girl he defended. He runs into Asher the first night he is there, never expecting her to still be there, she had plans to move away as soon as she could – but she’s not the girl he once knew.
Asher is back living in her hometown after taking on her Grandfather’s business of running his lavender fields – not what she wanted to end up doing in life, but life has always thrown a spanner in the works for her – she is desperately trying hard to keep the business afloat but there are debts and problems. Seeing Ledger again brought back all her old feelings of anger and betrayal – yet the connection they had as teens still seems to be there.
A good read, I enjoyed the dynamics and ribbing between the three brothers. Asher and Ledger’s problems need a lot of sorting out due to neither of them knowing the full story about what happened all those years ago – there’s a lot of hurt, anger and betrayal to get through! Asher has a fantastic best friend who is there for her no matter what. A good second chance / opposites read, full of emotions and heartbreak. This was easily read as a standalone, but I would be happy to go back and read the first book in this series.
New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary romance novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines and damaged heroes who we love to hate but can’t help to love.
A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow and her mind scattered in too many different directions.
Since publishing her first book on a whim in 2013, Kristy has sold over one and a half million copies of her books across eighteen different countries and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over thirty times. Her Driven trilogy (Driven, Fueled, and Crashed) is currently being adapted for film by the streaming platform, Passionflix, with the first movie (Driven) out now.
With her imagination always in overdrive, she is currently scheming, plotting, and swooning over her latest hero.
