My ARC Review:

The third book in this Redemption Hills series, this is brother Logan’s story – after reading the previous two books I was really looking forward to finding out about Logan, who was the fun Uncle, the playboy, the goofy one – what story was he hiding?

Logan was used by his MC Prez father to cook the books for another mafia family – this is where he met Aster Rose, the girl he was not even supposed to acknowledge or talk to, but the chemistry between them was inescapable and they started a forbidden secret romance – but Aster was promised to her Father’s right hand man. They had planned to run away but one fateful night changed everything for them……

Seven years later and Aster is married to that right hand man, who proceeds to lose a bet to Logan, with Aster being the prize. Aster has had a terrible life, all she wants to do is be free to live her own life, but running into Logan again brings up a whole range of emotions – so much guilt and hurt, but the chemistry between them is just the same. She finds herself turning to Logan, to see if the boy she once loved was still hiding between that stern veneer. Her Father give her 30 days to try and sort herself out – time to find out truths, unearth secrets and get to know the boy now turned man she once loved.

Amy’s unique writing style pulls you in from the start, very descriptive and full of emotions. These two were destined to be together, both were missing a piece of their heart that no one else could put back together. It’s a love worth fighting for, a family worth dying for, but she is frightened of making a connection in case it all gets snatched away again. Logan is hot and swoony, there’s nothing he won’t do for Aster, as she has always been his one, but there is hurt and secrets to overcome before they can move forward. A wonderful read.
