How can a couple of former spies enjoy life in their personal corner of paradise, when things from the past keep coming back to haunt them?

What does a former spy have to do to get some peace and quiet in his personal corner of paradise? In the laidback ease of the Florida Keys, Nick Seven has carved out a life far removed from the intrigue that once defined his life in the CIA. He runs his trendy club on the Gulf, keeps a low profile, and enjoys the tropical setting with Felicia, his Barbadian lover and former co-worker. After he sees a woman being killed at a resort, Nick finds himself thrust into an investigation where there is no corpse and no evidence of a crime. The police are busy with a string of high-profile home burglaries and don’t have time to look for his imaginary victim, so it’s up to Nick to investigate. Then French con artist Marco St. Julian unexpectedly surfaces from Nick’s past. Are the incidents related? And what part does the wealthy young trophy wife of a convicted financial scammer play in all of this? Throw in a career-hungry FBI agent, a mysterious Cuban crook and an ex-patriate Irish gunrunner, and it’s more than just another day at the beach.

Felicia unfolded herself from the chaise, then moved behind Nick. She placed her hands on his shoulders and began kneading his muscles. He closed his eyes and breathed deep.

“Mmm, that feels good,” he said. “What brought this on?”

“I’m feelin’ relaxed, and you look tense. I thought you should be loose, too.”

Nick lowered his head to allow her access to his neck and trapezius muscle. Felicia kissed his cheek, then whispered in his ear. “Let’s take this upstairs where you can get more comfortable.”

Nick took her hand as she led him to their second-floor bedroom. He stripped off his clothes while Felicia took off her loose-fitting top and shorts, revealing her trim, naked form. She prompted Nick to lie on his stomach on the bed, then straddled his waist. He closed his eyes and felt her soft, oiled hands massaging his shoulders, then working their way down his back to his lumbar region.

“That feels really good,” he mumbled into the pillow.

Felicia leaned over to bring her face closer to his. “What did you say, hon?”

“I said that feels good.”

She continued her massage, pressing her thumbs harder into his muscles. “You need this. Surprised you haven’t had another migraine, you’re so tense.”

Nick didn’t answer as he felt relaxation washing over his body like the incoming surf. When Felicia’s hands moved down to massage his butt, he began to feel aroused, especially when her fingers slipped in between his legs.

She prompted him to roll over on his back, then sat on his lower abdomen. She rested her hands on his shoulders and began massaging him again. Nick closed his eyes and enjoyed the tactile sensation of Felicia’s fingers raking down to his pecs and teasing his nipples. He felt himself getting hard, rubbing against Felicia’s ass. He took in a sharp breath when he felt one of her hands reach behind her and grasp his erection, fondling him into full hardness while her other hand continued along his chest.

“Feels like someone wants a happy ending to their massage,” she teased.
