If you’re looking for villains who eventually turn good, that doesn’t happen in this book. They are the antithesis to a romantic hero in every way. Proceed with caution. My ARC Review:
The concluding part in this duet – previously Harlow was kidnapped by the Lords and has been being turned into a Lady of Darkness, taken away from her normal life and turned into a killer like them. But she planned to escape by poisoning them, but of course this backfired.
The 4 Lords were hurt, angry and felt deceived by her attempt, they thought they had won her trust. So punishment was doled out, just not in the way she expected, and she did not like it one bit, apologising at every turn, but seemingly unable to make it up to them.
Enemies turn up seeking revenge for the killing of their new boss, and Harlow is their target. The Lords, even though they were upset with Harlow, would rain fire down on the world to protect her, she is theirs, and rain fire they do!
Lots of action, intrigue and suspense with hot steamy menage scenes between the 4 Lords and a Lady, I mean really hot, enough to melt your kindle, with MM scenes to go with the MMMMF scenes.
Harlow takes to being a Lady like a duck to water, she fit in very well, and in fact turns out to be more ruthless than the Lords in the end, you go girl! Great epilogues to go with it as well, would love to see more of these guys with the children as they grow older to see how they all turn out.
