My ARC Review:

The fourth in this Redemption Hills series, and I must say that I loved this one, for me this was one of the best in the series, Milo and Tessa were just explosive together, and Milo’s two kids just made it everything – a stunning read from start to finish, filled with emotions and angst, Milo has a dark past and is very broken but is trying his best to get his life in order, whilst Tessa is left feeling like she is less than worthless with her rat of an ex-boyfriend – Milo and Tessa together were just beautiful, but there were some nasty obstacles to overcome for them to ever get their HEA.

Milo is Trent’s friend and head bouncer at Absolution, Tessa is Eden’s best friends – they have had a connection since they first met. Just friends, until they weren’t – Tessa leaves her nasty boyfriend after his mistreatment of her went a step too far, Milo ends up picking her up out of the car park at Absolution where she is a broken emotional mess and taking her home with him until she can contact Eden to come get her. This is the start of a fabulous friendship, where the boundaries are tested.

They end up in a fake relationship together, pretending to be engaged in an attempt to get Milo’s two children back from their grandparents, he wants custody back from them, but needs to prove he is a fit parent, with Tessa wholeheartedly agreeing to help him any way she can.

Oh my, Milo and Tessa together are like dynamite, their connection together just impossible to ignore, but not everything is hearts and flowers, Milo’s dark past and Tessa’s ex make for some dramatic and suspenseful moments. But I loved how their friendship developed, how they were there for each other, how their relationship with both children grew and became their everything. I loved everything about this book, it has been a stunning series, not sure if there are going to be any more from Redemption Hills, but what a way to end it if this is the last one! Not to be missed.
