A thrilling and breathtaking conclusion to this duet, full of suspense, deceit and violence, it’s non-stop action from start to finish and will keep you on your toes as the puzzle pieces fall into place.
Lev wants out of the mafia with Kat and their son Josh, but his Uncle wants him dead, and so they are on the run. Lev has his work cut out for him trying to keep his little family safe as Kat has not been brought up in this lifestyle and does not quite understand just how much danger they are in.
Lev tracks down an old friend he thought was dead, who helps him work out just what the connection is with Kat and his Uncle, but violence and his Uncle’s men are not far behind him. Family secrets are uncovered that could change their whole life.
Family is everything and Lev is the alpha protective male trying his best to keep them that way, while Kat shows how brave and strong she can be now her life is surrounded by violence and the mafia, keeping strong for her son Josh. She has some very violent and heartbreaking scenes in this one!
A brilliant conclusion to this duet, that answers all the questions and rounds everything off nicely, but has kept you on edge all the way through reading and watching the secrets unfold. Well worth the read.
